Investing and Partnering – Biomedicine

At its main campus in Pula, Sardinia, in a natural setting of rare beauty, on 22 and 23 October 2009 Polaris, one of the main Science and Technology Parks in Italy, opens its doors to foreign entrepreneurs and managers with a major Investing & Partnering Forum focused on the Biomedicine and ICT sectors.
The aim of the event is to attract to Sardinia foreign Hi-tech investments and promote science and technology partnerships between local enterprises and research centres and foreign counterparts. The Forum will see participation of a large number of representatives of companies, agencies and research centres from 14 foreign countries: Canada, China, the UAE, France, Germany, Japan, India, Israel, the UK, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.
This event is organised by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, with the operational support of Sardegna Ricerche, the regional public body which set up and manages Polaris. The Forum covers two days and features an international conference, exhibition areas and a partner search café with one-to-one meetings between local enterprises and research centres and foreign operators.
Participation is free of charge. If you are interested in taking part in the Forum or need more information, please visit the website:
